Yeasta Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

Yeasta does not collect any personal data. All information — including sourdough starters, logs, preferences, and recipes — is stored locally on your device.

We do not collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, IP address)
• Location data
• Usage analytics
• Contact or health data

2. Data Storage

All data entered in the app is saved only on your device using local storage mechanisms provided by Apple (e.g. UserDefaults and local app files).

3. iCloud (Planned Feature)

In the future, Yeasta may offer optional iCloud syncing to allow you to back up and sync data across devices. This would use Apple’s iCloud infrastructure and would be tied to your Apple ID, not accessed or managed by the app developer.

Even with iCloud enabled:

• No data is sent to any external server outside of Apple's infrastructure.
• Yeasta does not have access to your iCloud data.

4. Third Parties

Yeasta does not share your data with any third parties. No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Yeasta may include links to third-party products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Yeasta earns from qualifying purchases. These links are provided to help you find baking tools and ingredients more easily. If you choose to make a purchase, Yeasta may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
